Possessing electro-manipulation ability and a destructive projectile move, Mikoto Misaka is an upper level-5 Esper in Academy City. Using her power, she assists her flirty roommate Kuroko Shirai, who uses her teleportation skill to fight crime as a Judgment law enforcement agent with team members Kazari Uiharu and her spunky level-0 Esper friend Ruiko Saten. Despite the dangers they sometimes face during their investigations, they enjoy the friendship, adventure, excitement, and fun that they have together.
