During a ceremony Kagetsu secretly steals the precious talisman Throne of Yord, then defeats and destroys Taira's familiar who tries to stop him. A disbelieving and shocked Taira chases after Kagetsu, her beloved, but can't prevent his escape to another world. Given a new familiar, Japolo, and ordered to recover the talisman and either capture or destroy the thief, Taira is determined to not only return the talisman but learn why her beloved stole it, unaware that Kagetsu is trying to save his younger sister Sarah.
