On her 16th birthday, Kobeni discovers she's in an arranged marriage set up by her late grandfather. She has been engaged since childhood to a total stranger, whom she had supposedly met once but doesn't remember anything about. Even weirder still is that both her mom and creepily overdoting older sister, Benio, appear totally unfazed when the groom-to-be, Hakuya, and his younger sister, Mashiro, suddenly show up at the family's doorstep to move in and live with them.
